Alliterative Rules: All words in the caption (including hyphenated words) must start with the same letter. No words are repeated within a single caption.

Complete Words Only: Always submit whole words rather than single letters or partial guesses. Double-check your spelling before hitting submit!

Zoom In for Clues: Tap the illustration to enlarge it, and pinch-zoom on your mobile device to study the details. Gameplay will automatically pause while you look closely.

Starting Off: Begin by guessing an obvious word from the picture. Note: For our more devilishly difficult puzzles, the most obvious details might not be in the final caption!

Scoring Big: A perfect first guess (all words correct, flawlessly spelled, and in the right sequence) earns a whopping 100 points. Scores above 70 are excellent, but any win is a victory worth celebrating!

Relaxed Spelling: Minor misspellings are sometimes accepted depending on the word. They won't penalize your score unless it's your very first guess (which requires absolute perfection for 100 points).

Diacritical Marks: Don't sweat the accents! Words like "açai" can be guessed using standard keyboard letters without penalty.

The Clue System:

First Letter Clue: Activates automatically and for free after your first correct word guess.

Second & Third Letter Clues: These reveal letters in their specific positions. Note: The Second Letter Clue carries the highest penalty (-10 points), so use it wisely!

Random Letter Clue: Reveals all instances of a random letter hidden in the remaining blanks.

Letter Clues (1st, 2nd, 3rd): These clues reveal letters only in their respective positions. The same letters may exist elsewhere in the caption, hidden or revealed.

Keys Clue: Available only after all other clues are used. It highlights all usable letters for your incomplete words and can be reused.

Winning the Round: Only a final, fully completed word guess can officially win and end the game; clues alone will never accidentally close out a round for you.

Scoring Details: Find full scoring details by clicking the '?' next to your final score after winning a game.
